Superwolf

Superwolf.

example

Superwolf is an indie supergroup that joins the talents of Matt Sweeney and Bonnie “Prince” Billy, aka Will Oldham. For a long a review written by someone with, undoubtedly, a rather unsatisfying job go to Pitchfork. Me, I like most of the songs on the record. Like all Will Oldham projects, you have to skip past a couple of stinkers, but overall the record is solid. Epic, folk, ‘70s, Greatful Dead, dark, absurd are words that come to mind, but you’re capable of listening to music without the aide of my thesaurus. When you buy the record, as an added literary bonus, you get a paragraph by ex-pat writer Paul Bowles on the pot and alcohol. Fascinating... seriously.

Recommended tracks include “My home is the Sea” and “Only Someone Running”.

This record came out in January, so my "review" isn't that hot and stinky
